Garlic Butter Prawns

Screenshot the recipe. Cook it this week.
You keep saving recipes on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube — and keep losing them. Capture one and it comes back as a real recipe: structured ingredients, numbered steps, calories and macros, in one kitchen you actually use.
Free to join · your captures stay private unless you publish them.
Saving a recipe is not the same as keeping it
Your recipes are scattered across four apps, three languages and a camera roll. None of it scales, none of it makes a shopping list, and none of it tells you whether the thing actually works.

Saved. Never opened again.
Your saved folder is an archive of good intentions — no search inside it, no way to tell a 20-minute dinner from a three-hour project.
4 apps
Spread across four places
Some in Instagram saves, some in a Notes file, some screenshotted. Nothing you can hand to a shopping list.

No amounts you can trust
Video recipes say “a bit of this”. Nothing scales to six people, nothing converts, nothing tells you the nutrition.
How the capture works
Three taps from a video you liked to a recipe you can cook
No transcribing. No pausing the video sixteen times. No guessing what “a splash” means in grams.
Screenshot the post
Whatever you were already looking at — a TikTok, a Reel, a Short, a Pinterest pin, a page of a cookbook.
Send it to the assistant
It reads the recipe out of the image, translates it, splits quantity from unit from ingredient, and numbers the steps.
It lands in your kitchen
A private draft with macros and the original creator’s link attached. Edit it, scale it, plan it, cook it — then share.
One place for everything you meant to cook
Captures land in a real kitchen, not a folder. Plan the week, walk in with the recipe already scaled, and take it anywhere.
Structured recipes
Every capture becomes structured ingredients and numbered steps — searchable by ingredient, not just title.
Save & collections
Your own recipes, private adaptations and saved public recipes together in one kitchen you control.
Cook mode
Big step text, ticks that stay ticked, per-step timers and a screen kept awake. Usable with one messy hand.
Connect ChatGPT & Claude
Link your account to a custom GPT or Claude connector and capture recipes straight from the assistant you already use.
Recipe Book PDF
Turn a collection into a clean, printable Recipe Book — a PDF you can keep, gift or take offline.
Install as an app
Add RecipeFolks to your home screen and open your kitchen like a native app — offline-friendly, no app store.
Ratings here come only from people who cooked it
No stars from someone who scrolled past. You confirm the cook first, then you can rate it — and you say what you changed. That is why “327 people cooked this” means something here and a like does not.
Private unless you say otherwise
Captures, saves, notes and cook history are private by default. Household recipes never appear in public search or feeds.
The original creator keeps the credit
Source link and creator name travel with every capture. Publishing one is your decision and requires attribution.
Your data leaves when you do
Print layouts, structured export and full personal-data export. It is a WordPress plugin, so the database is yours.
Start with the last recipe you saved and never cooked
Open your saved videos, capture one, and it comes back as something you could cook tonight. Free to join, private by default, export everything whenever you like.
